1. Each Officer and Committee Chairman shall make a written report at the expiration of
the term of office.
2. A gift for the outgoing President shall be a State Life Membership in The Garden Club
of Georgia or any garden-related project.
3. Registration and package plan expenses shall be paid for the current President, or
representative, for all District and State Meetings. The outgoing President shall
represent Council at the convention in the odd-numbered years.
4. A memorial of $25 will be given in the name of The Augusta Council of Garden Clubs,
Inc., to a chosen garden-related project in case of death of a past or current President of
Council.
5. Time for the Executive Board and Governing Board Meetings will be 10 A.M. unless
changed by either Board.
6. Council shall pay for a framed picture of the outgoing President.
7. The President and Recording Secretary shall sign all long-term rental leases, with the
approval of the Executive Board.
8. The Membership Data list is considered “restricted” and any distribution must be
authorized by the President.
