After Six 

  Plans to put benches and plantings at Columbia County parks 

  Penny Pines 

  

Cherokee Rose 

  Organizes and hosts a community-wide plant swap each September 

  Provides design, maintenance and supplies for the courtyard gardens at  Westmont Elementary 

  Presents a monthly garden related activity to the residents of Kentwood Nursing Home    each month 

  The Cherokee Rose Friendship Flower: The club has established small groups made up of club members for the purpose of getting to know each other better and strengthening friendship 

  Members participate in the Sacred Heart Garden Festival 

  Members enter arrangements in the Daylily Flower Show 

  Supports Phinizy Swamp Nature Park through membership 

  Members serve on planning committee and help coordinate the Tree, Turf and Ornamental Seminar 

  Plans to participate in the Gordon Highway Roadside Beautification project 

  Donates calendars to patients at the Veterans Administration Medical Center 

  Donates nonperishable foods at monthly meetings to the Columbia County Cares food pantry

Willow Wood 

  Maintains and replants as needed two large planters donated to Columbia County Library, including decorating topiaries with white lights at Christmas 

  Recognizes National Garden Week with flowers for the CC Library 

  Recognizes Arbor Day by donating a tree to a CC school and attending the planting 

  Recycling/collecting plastic bags.  Bags are given to the Columbia County         

  Foundation to use with their clients. 

  Pull Tabs for Ronald McDonald House 

  A garden therapy activity with residents at a local nursing home 

  A monetary donation to State Hospital in Milledgeville to support the Christmas stocking fund 

  Provides 25 Christmas stockings
